Finest Hour - Card Number 11: Rarity, Glamorous Artificer
Rarity had never seen such exquisite materials to work with, at least not freely. Hours and hours of thinking and planning, drawing and measuring, cutting and sewing. Not only did she have to surpass herself in what she usually made, it also had to be practical and useful. Dresses, boots and hats piled themselves up in the room while she worked. Glorious and beautiful clothes. But there was a problem:
“What good will these do, if we are against changelings or other dangers? Cloth feels good, and it has a high tensile strength, but won’t du much against kick and bites. ”
She asked herself the question over and over, as she sifted through the piles. Then she made a decision, and cut everything apart, starting all over from scratch.
“I must approach this different. This time it is functionality, not look that matters. I can make the others appreciate it much more, if they find it helpful. Perhaps beauty can be other places than in looks? Or both places at once? Yes, definitely both.”
She began her work with renewed vigor, this time with steel and gold as her medium. Once she had reached perfection in utility, she could begin to work on appearance.

Oh, Rarity; you so crazy. XD Really loving the effects that you're thinking up with these cards. I couldn't even think of anything for Pinkie or AJ, so I just left em out from my set. *gets pelted by fans*
