Finest Hour - Card Number 57: Full Scale Crossover
Ok, I finally have time again to update this project. I have looked up the various ideas people have posted, and finally selected the various “reinforcements” that will show up now, as well as some more for later. The later parts of the set, at least the part with the new reinforcements, will be a big crossover between various universes. The ones showing up, without spoiling too much at the moment is:
1: a mix of various anime and manga characters, approved by the original creator. 2: A character inspired by Doctor Who, and a personal acquaintance of Dr. Whooves. 3: Someone from a different timeline. 4: Someone from Mass Effect. Just because. 5: A different interpretation of a canon character.
And for later we have: Spike in a changed form after his disappearance in the planes. Derpy, taking a move from background character into the front. Jace Beleren, although not in person, will have some part in the events of this set.
How, or indeed even on what side, the first two characters will join the set; will be left hanging in the wind. I could tell now, but where would the fun be in that?
Anyways, updates will begin in a day or two from now on. If you have more ideas for just about anything in this set, let me know. Feedback is always appreciated.
Finest Hour is the second part of a 3 part MTG expansion set, intended to tell an overall storyline through ponified Magic the Gathering cards, exploring the plane of Equestria and its struggle against a darker force invading it.
A prologue set named Unseen Invasion begins here Read it if you want the back-story of the main set. Or just want to see more cards. Each piece will have a link to the next part.
This set, named Finest Hour begins with a quick recap of the prologue here If you want to read the story of this set, simply hit the above recap link, and follow the “Next piece of the story” links.
I agree, but the problem with ninjutsu is, that it doesnt do much on its own, it needs additional creatures based upon it, for some strong "when this creature deals combat damage to a player" effects. It could be a possibility, but it would require a redesign of a lot of cards in the set. So i chose the closest thing possible.
